Peapack, New Jersey, March 28, 2013: Novoset , LLC has today officially announced the opening of its Design and Development Technology Center to support the growing advanced material demand for the high speed telecommunication and semiconductor industries. In addition the Technology Center will develop advanced matrix systems based on Cyanate esters, epoxy and Polyimides chemistries for aerospace, space, automotive and defense industries.
The Technology Center is located at 3B Russo Place, Berkeley Heights, NJ about 20
minutes from Novoset, LLC’s main office in Peapack and a 30- minute drive to New York City. Our location is in close proximity to other premium research facilities and universities in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania areas.
The opening ceremony was held on March 28 , 2013 and attended by Novoset’s President &CEO Dr. Sajal Das , James Schleck , President of Cyalume Specialty Products, Dr. Richard Lyon , Program Manager, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mayor Joseph Bruno of Berkeley Heights along with key customers. Commenting at the ceremony, Dr Das noted “This Technology Center expansion at Novoset is a commitment of Novoset and Lonza, manufacturing collaborative partner of Novoset to support our customers. We expect a lot of great new products and technologies to emerge from this new center. Furthermore it will offer a platform for advanced material development & research for our global customers”
Ken McMahon , Senior Vice President of Lonza’ s Industrial solution business unit was one of the key note speakers. Mr McMahon noted that Lonza’ s commitment to new innovation and its collaboration with Novoset ‘s Technology Center will be the fastest way to commercialize products and support customers.
Mayor Joseph Bruno in his key address mentioned that Berkeley Heights and the surrounding area is the home of many high tech companies and the birth place of the former Bell Lab. He welcomed Novoset Technology Center to the Berkeley Heights business community.
