WeylChem Wesseling enters Advanced Materials Market with a NewBusiness Line in Germany and a Strategic Partnership with Novoset

Frankfurt, Germany – July 3, 2025 - WeylChem Wesseling GmbH has announced its entry into the Advanced Materials market with the formation of a new Advanced Materials Business Line in Germany.

With over 65 years of expertise in the manufacturing and handling of cyanogen chlorides derivatives, WeylChem Wesseling is proud to offer exceptional technical support to its customers. Cyanogen chloride is a key building block for cyanate esters and other crosslinking agents like Triallyl Cyanurate (TAC) and Isocyanurate (TAICROS™).

The company operates Europe´s largest backward-integrated feedstock supply of cyanate ester raw materials and its derivatives, supported by a sophisticated on-site hydrogen cyanide (HCN) network. This strategic position has enabled a forward integration initiative, including investment in cyanate ester chemistry to meet both current and future customer needs.

WeylChem Wesseling is also pleased to announce a long-term strategic partnership with Novoset, LLC, a New Jersey based advanced material company. Dr. Sajal Das, Founder & CEO of Novoset, has joined our team as a partner in innovation, marketing and growth.

At its Wesseling site, WeylChem has consolidated decades of experience and product offerings from across the WeylChem Group of Companies to serve advanced aerospace and electronics market segments.

Initial offerings from the Advanced Materials Business Line will include Welcure™ BTCDA and Welcure™ CAF, along with TAC and TAICROS®. TAC and TAICROS® are widely used as crosslinker in polyphenylene oxide (PPO) and hydrocarbon resins for CCL and other industrial applications. BTCDA is recognized in the electronics and aerospace markets for epoxy curing and polyimide building blocks. WeylChem boasts manufacturing capabilities in BTCDA and is the largest producer of CAF, with a long-standing history of supplying CAF for structural aerospace applications. Driven by its manufacturing and marketing strengths and guided by discussions with key customers, the company is committed to expanding its portfolio to include cyanate esters and other aromatic M-bisanilines. This expansion will enable WeylChem to offer a line of products for the electronics and aerospace markets, leveraging its production and technical capabilities.
